The Pulpit (as its also known) is a volcanic plug of mostly hard sport routes hidden amongst trad climbing country of South East Queensland. The Pulpit is on private property. Access to the Pulpit is a privilege and not a right.

Rock climbing in South East Queensland suffers from a secret squirrel society where knowledge cannot be obtained freely or publicly. The Pulpit is a great example and possibly rightly so to protect this crag from the crowds and respect the owners of the land. Urban Crag will devulge to you limited information on the Pulpit in the hope to satisfy your curiosity. The location will not be disclosed in the hope if and when you decide to give the Pulpit a go, you would have by then hooked up with someone who has climbed there before and therefore know about the ethics of climbing here.
